Third Person Introduction
He'd been in Tampa for six months now, and it was honestly because he had nothing better to do.

Jacob had come to Florida to film a television pilot. Despite his suspicions that the producers were insane for wanting to film in and around Tampa when all reports agreed that the city had gone completely batshit in unexplainable ways, he agreed. After his abrupt departure from his last show, anywhere that wasn't LA but still had sunshine was good enough for him.

He'd read a couple of scripts since then, nothing that really interested him, and avoided tabloid magazines. Any magazines, really, since they all tended to talk about Against Medical Advice sooner or later. That was the problem with hit shows - you couldn't escape them.

Luckily for his sanity, he'd met Sage. Their relationship was nothing and everything like the one he'd had with his ex-wife, and it was just what he needed. Now all he had to do was wait to hear if his show got picked up.

And wait to see if Sage's sister really did try to kill him.
